Security and Network Engineer

Position Description:

An experienced Telecomms engineer is required to provide BAU and associated change to 3rd line levels in support of customer infrastructure. The engineer would be primarily required to provide a BAU/Change function, but should also expect to be involved in project and modernisation activities.
The role will incorporate a broad range of Telecomms technologies and it is envisaged that the engineer have a strong technical background in Routers, Switches, Firewalls and associated security infrastructure such as encryption technologies.
The successful candidate would be located at our Bridgend Waterton office primarily, but would be expected to attend other offices or Data Centres as and when required.

Key Requirements:
Strong Communication skills
Equipment Configuration, Installation and troubleshooting
Strong Background in Telecomms Security, including encryption technology
Ability to liaise confidently with Third Parties
Appreciation and Experience in Incident Management and Change Processes
Flexible working – out of hours as and when required
Able to work individually or as part of a team
Willing to work at CGI / customer sites around the UK as and when required
Willing to participate in regular weekly on-call rota
