Secretary II- CIV

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Secretary II to support the Civil division at DOJ.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Performs general clerical work including filing copying, sorting, faxing, mailing, booking meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing reports, documents and other clerical duties as needed.

Receive and screen visitors as well as phone calls. Determines the nature of the request, refers callers or visitors to appropriate staff.

Responsible for the preparation of drafts and/or final form of material such as, memoranda’s, letters, reports, requests, etc., as assigned.

Maintain and control the supervisor’s calendars advising them daily of appointments and or conferences.

Receives and accurately routes all routine internal/external communication (including but limited to phone calls, emails, calendar appointments, faxes, internal/external mail).

Authorizing building access by enrolling PIV cards and submitting additional access request.

Assists with Inventory within 4 DOJ buildings.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Excellent customer service, computer, communication, writing as well as organization skills.

The work requires sitting, walking, standing, bending and carrying light items such as papers and files.

Must be able to pass CGI Federal background investigation
Must be able to obtain DOJ MRPT clearance
Must have a high school diploma or GED
