SAP Basis Consultant

Position Description:

As a SAP Basis Consultant require to manage and maintain SAP systems. You will be responsible for ensuring system stability, performance, and security across SAP landscapes. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Providing technical support and administration for the SAP landscape, including SAP server and database management
• Install, patch, and upgrade SAP systems (including S/4HANA)
• Performing SAP system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Configuring and managing SAP infrastructure components like application servers, databases, and operating systems
• Implementing and managing SAP security, authorisation, and user administration
• Supporting SAP upgrade and migration projects
• Collaborating with the broader project team to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions
• Documenting processes and providing knowledge transfer to stakeholders

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant
• Strong technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, including SAP application and database management
• Experience working with SAP HANA, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Proficient in SAP security, authorisation, and user management
• Experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in SAP Basis management
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) is an added advantage
