Salesforce Solutions Architect - Energy Retail

CGI are already a key system integrator within the energy sector, and are growing quickly and want a Salesforce expert to grow the team. The role will involve a fair bit of travel so we are flexible on where you will be based, although Birmingham, London or Manchester would be preferable locations.
Your future duties and responsibilities
From the moment you join CGI, you'll be playing a vital role in the Salesforce solutions we deliver to our clients, concentrating on the Energy Retail sector. You will be a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert who will be able to bring expert knowledge to the team. You will be involved in the end to end solutions we deliver to energy retail clients and will be a key contributor to winning further salesforce related work for the team. You will contribute heavily to high level solution design comprising multiple Salesforce components in an integrated client environment. Currently there is a focus on Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities; however this may broaden in future.
You will play a major role in delivering the solutions to clients, including integration of Salesforce with third party COTS and bespoke back office systems. You will have a responsibility to mentor the team, and knowledge share wherever possible.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Ideally you will have Salesforce architecture experience with one or more energy retailers. However experience implementing Salesforce solutions architecture within retail (non-energy) would also be highly desirable.
You will have extensive experience of integration between Salesforce and other applications as well as detailed product knowledge of Marketing cloud, sales cloud, service cloud and communities including customer and partner portals. Knowledge of field service, IOT and order management would be a plus.
Additional nice to have qualifications:
- Previous experience in a pre-sales role and/or Energy sector contacts that can be a base for -
future business development.
- Ability to work in both Salesforce Classic and Lightning, and experience building and giving client demos using Simple Demo Orgs (SDO). Knowledge of Vlocity and Dell Boomi is also highly desirable.
This role will involve UK travel to clients’ sites and other CGI offices and so a flexible attitude towards travel is essential for this role.
