Position Description:
We are looking for a QA Automation Tester to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate has experience with test automation frameworks, scripting, and can communicate effectively in English with international teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, delivery, and operation.
•Contribute to test strategy and test design together with Squad Leads and Business/Solution Experts.
•Design, implement, and maintain automated tests focusing on end-to-end, integration, and performance testing.
•Perform exploratory and manual testing when needed to validate complex scenarios and support automation development.
•Ensure reliable test coverage for critical checkout processes.
•Act as the owner of component and performance testing, ensuring these layers are properly implemented and maintained.
•Support engineers in maintaining a balanced testing pyramid, providing guidance on unit and integration testing.
•Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
•Monitor and analyze test results and quality metrics to ensure product reliability.
•Document test cases and testing approaches to ensure transparency and maintainability.
•Identify and drive improvements in test automation, test coverage, and overall product quality.
•Collaborate with Squad Leads, Solution Architects, Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers, and SREs to deliver high-quality solutions.
•Follow and improve quality standards, testing practices, and automation frameworks used in the platform.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Strong experience with automated end-to-end and integration testing.
•Strong experience with test automation for backend and web applications.
•Strong knowledge of REST API fundamentals.
•Experience working with .NET / C# testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit).
•Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
•Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
•Experience working with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Rancher Desktop).
•Experience with Visual Studio.
•Experience with test management and reporting tools (e.g., Zephyr, ReportPortal).
•Experience with relational databases.
•Understanding of the testing pyramid and modern test automation practices.
•Ability to work closely with product and engineering teams in an Agile environment to ensure product quality.
•Very good English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to Have
•Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter).
•Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog).
