Position Description
Be a part of a dynamic and high-performing business unit here at CGI. You will work with a team of dedicated and knowledgeable members to provide proposal management support on strategic opportunities to support critical IT and mission support programs for a wide variety of U.S. Government agencies. You will work with an impressive group of technical experts, marketing professionals, and dynamic leaders to craft compelling and substantive proposal responses for our customers.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Function: The Proposal Coordinator provides proposal process support and coordination with other proposal resources. The coordinator’s primary emphasis is on compliance and keeping the proposal on schedule, allowing the coordinator to support multiple proposals at one time. May also serve as a part-time proposal SME resource for account teams pursuing short-turnaround, tactical bids and task orders.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as proposal SME available for consultation during creation, editing, and production of all proposal components and related artifacts
• Develop the Proposal Management Plan (schedule, outline, writer’s matrix, templates), ensuring establishment of proposal development infrastructure to include Privia workspace
• Lead development of proposal outline and cross reference to RFP, and questions/comments on RFP
• Coordinate proposal Team Reviews, including Pink, Red and Gold Team reviews, Green Team reviews and White Glove review
• Review proposal products for compliance with RFP and make appropriate changes and/or recommendations to proposal team for fixes. Not directly responsible for proposal content beyond basic compliance.
• Oversee proposal production and coordinate with account team to ensure on-time delivery of proposal

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelors degree plus 3 years of directly related proposal experience (relevant to the duties described above) in the Federal Government marketplace. Additional experience with the following is desirable:
• Experience with industry - best practices in Federal proposal management (such as Shipley or similar process)
• Proposal writing
• Editorial practice and standards
• Broad and specific range of Federal, State, and local government procurement regulations and practices (including FAR and DFAR)
• Significant experience working with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
