Project Coordinator

Position Description
The Project Manager/ Coordinator will manage the day to day project details, risks, issues, pportunities, threats, actions and decisions on behalf of the IT Project Lead, the Regulatory subject Matter Expert and the Program Manager for a program of Regulatory-focused work at one of out global strategic Life Sciences clients. This role will be visible to the client project and program team and will communicate status and updates on the CGI components of this project where the business outcome is to prepare the client’s many countries for a global migration of their content to a cloud solution.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Be the day-to-day contact for the respective regulatory analyst and IT teams

• Collaborate in ensuring project progress, resolution of issues, and mitigation of risks with Program Manager, IT Project Lead and Regulatory SME

• Plan, organize, lead, monitor and control the activities of their respective project teams

• Provide direction and guidance as appropriate to the scope and context of the project

• Approve, or secure required approvals of, project deliverables as required

• Provide direction and guidance as appropriate to the scope and context of the project

• Deal with outstanding issues to avoid delays

• Escalate risks/issues to the Program Manager as required

• Provide status updates to the CGI Program Manager for high level client meetings and reporting

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals

• Demonstrated Project Management and Coordination experience

• Strong experience with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

• Strong Organization Skills

• Exemplary Communication Skills, whether face to face, by tc, video or transient electronic communication methods (IM, skype,SMS) and practical knowledge of best communication method to use for circumstances

• Attention to detail

• Ability to understand resource models for projects and how to adjust for optimal efficiency

• Ability to assess impact of changes requested by stakeholders

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Life Sciences Regulatory Operations experience

• Data classification knowledge or experience

• Life Sciences Regulatory Submissions or Regulatory Affairs experience

• Migration Project Management experience
