Programmer Technical Analyst

Position Description
CGI is seeking a Programmer/Technical Analyst with 3-5+ years of experience. This individual will be responsible for technical analysis and consulting services as part of larger team engaged to provide post-implementation support and identify/implement continuous improvement opportunities for an ADVANTAGE ERP implementation. Client is a large and complex state government client.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Role is to provide real time onsite technical support; working with system end users if there are any technical challenges found. Assist the onsite support team in helping to trace actions by users, get to root causes, and be able to log tickets describing the issues encountered (working in conjunction with MA CMs/ OPS).

Includes:

•Data fixes – Writing SQLs on a day-to day basis for correcting the data caused by software issues.
•ABI – Provide Inbound interfaces assistance (While a large part of this is handled by MA/ Product team onsite- technical members have provided significant support especially when jobs that leverage ABI fail.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3-5+ years of experience with the following technologies:
• Java
• SQL (ability to write statements/ insert/ update/ complex joins/ etc.)
• HTML
• CSS
• XML (Interfaces; Document Processing; Table Processing)

Desired Skills:
• GWT (core to ESS and MSS)
• Reporting (BI)/ SAP knowledge; not necessarily Advantage (would help) but the SAP knowledge is core.
• PDI – data integration – bringing data from external source to Advantage (or vice versa)

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
