Jr Business Analyst
CGI is seeking a Jr. Business Analyst with 0-3 years of relevant experience to join our project team supporting our State and Local ERP business
Your future duties and responsibilities
-Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Engineers, Operations and Maintenance resources on solutions, constraints and risks.
-Facilitate iterative user review sessions, identifying design improvements, managing issues and user expectations, and driving completion of key actions.
-Gather, develop, document and validate business, functional and technical requirements. Support the design of the system.
-Participate in Agile teams.
-Interact with client on requirements and design.
-Interact with advanced business analysts and solution developers to communicate and validate requirements.
-Perform functional and integrated testing.
-Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports and user documentation.
-Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
-Assists all phases of software systems programming applications.
-Evaluates new and existing software products.
-Author and prepare meeting minutes to be distributed to a variety of audiences.
-Author user stories, test scripts, and other Agile deliverables.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
-0-3 years work experience.
-Knowledge of SDLC.
-Functional analysis and strong writing skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to travel to client site (as needed).
-Ability to work effectively within a team environment under tight timelines.
-Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects at once.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
-Past/Current experience working with State and Local ERP solutions and/or Human Resource or Finance solutions.
-Experience in Agile environment.
-Experience creating/executing software test cases.
-Knowledge of programming concepts.
-Experience with data analysis and SQL.
-Testing automation experience – script development a plus.
