JavaScript Developer

Position Description
CGI is looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js, Angular, Vue, or another front-end technology.

The resource's primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them. The developer will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain as well as coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. This job is intended for an experienced front-end developer and will be expected to deliver immediately.

This role must be located in Houston, Texas.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js with knowledge of Redux
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use while also leveraging 3rd Party controls where appropriate
- Translating designs into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance
- Integration with back-end architecture (API management and Entity Framework)
- Advise team on best practices.
