Position Description:

Join the CGI IS-IT team and take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure in our Krakow office. We are looking for a professional who will independently support local users as part of 2nd line support, while closely cooperating with an international IT team across the Northern Europe region.

The role is on-site and combines daily user-facing activities with participation in regional and global technology initiatives.

Job responsibilities:
• Providing technical support to on-site and remote users, primarily as part of 2nd line support.
• Managing hardware and software license inventory.
• Maintaining and supporting office IT infrastructure (including printers, conferencing equipment, and network rooms).
• Administering mobile phone services.
• Preparing IT equipment for users (installation, configuration, deployment).
• Creating and updating internal IS-IT documentation.
• Participating in global and regional projects (testing, communication) across various scopes and technologies.
• Cooperating with external vendors and IT service providers.
• Performing other tasks that impact the IS-IT department and the quality of services delivered to the business.
• Working closely with IT teams in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• A higher technical education (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in 2nd line IT support (hardware and software) for users working with Windows 11 and macOS systems.
• A solid understanding of WAN/LAN/WLAN networks and networking solutions (IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, proxy).
• The ability to work with equipment in a network room, including cabling, network devices, and UPS systems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with tools such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft MFA, and basic Intune administration.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level and Polish C1 (English is used daily in our environment).
• The ability to quickly learn new solutions and technologies, with a proactive approach to proposing improvements.
• A strong interest in modern technologies and keeping up with IT trends.
• The ability to work independently (as the main and sole IT support person for the Krakow office) while being part of an international team.
• Willingness to work in an office environment with partial involvement in IT equipment handling (e.g. receiving IT device shipments from reception).
• Very good communication skills, resilience under user pressure, strong work organization, and a high level of personal professionalism.
