Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain IBM DataPower services for secure, high-performance API and integration solutions.
Develop and support multi-protocol integrations including HTTP/S, MQ, SFTP, and Database endpoints.
Implement message transformations using XSLT, GatewayScript, and Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW).
Develop SFTP-based integrations for secure file transfer, file polling, validation, encryption/decryption, and batch processing.
Implement IBM MQ integrations using MQ Front Side Handlers (FSH), handling request/reply, one-way messaging, error queues, and retry mechanisms.
Integrate with backend databases using SQL-based services or REST interfaces, ensuring secure connectivity and optimized performance.
Configure and manage Front Side Handlers (FSH) for HTTP, HTTPS, MQ, and SFTP.
Implement security policies including TLS/SSL, mutual authentication, OAuth, JWT, and message-level security.
Perform error handling, logging, and monitoring using DataPower logs, syslog, and custom error frameworks.
Optimize DataPower services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to message flow, connectivity, MQ, SFTP, and database interactions.
Collaborate with API, backend, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end integration design.

Support deployment and promotion across environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD) using automated or manual processes.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and integration specifications.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and integration standards.

Must-Have Skills:
IBM DataPower Gateway (physical/virtual/cloud)
XSLT, GatewayScript, XPath
IBM MQ (Queues, Channels, MQ FSH)
SFTP (file handling, encryption, scheduling)
Database integration (SQL, REST-based DB services)
TLS/SSL, OAuth, JWT, Certificates
Error handling, logging, and monitoring

Good-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
