Job Description

We are in a search for a new member for the team working on our Anti-financial Crime Solution – complex financial crime and risk management platform. We need you to design and prepare an upgrade of a current Hadoop installation and deliver it to the client.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design and Analysis of functional/technical/legal requirements
• Development of modules based on requirements
o Big data storage with real-time access
o Spark with scheduled jobs
• Prepare instructions for programmer implementation, coordinate with project team members to implement design and work through design revisions
• Communicate across the team of analysts and programmers to ensure functionality according to system design specifications, and develop solutions as problems or issues arise
• Investigate new technologies and continually update own technical knowledge and skills

Technologies and tools we use:
• Hadoop (Hortonworks, Cloudera, MapReduce)
• Hive, HBase, Pig, Spark
• , Scala, Python
• Zeppelin, Oozie

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience in designing and building solutions within the Hadoop environment
• Extensive knowledge and experience with or Scala programming
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. within data centers, data storage or similar)
• Solid communication skills in English and /
