Position Description

The nature of our work will mean that you will need to be eligible for, or already hold an appropriate level of UK Security Clearance. The role is based working on a client site in Cambridgeshire, however the nature of the role may also necessitate expensed travel to other client sites and other CGI offices as needed. As a GEOINT Domain expert at CGI you will provide client side on-site technical support and guidance including functional support at designated locations within the UK. You will work alongside our clients to help develop policy for GEOINT related projects in terms of; technical design, architecture, security, procurement, information management. You’ll also identify and report intelligence system capability gaps and issues identified by customer organizations and support the development of business case arguments and supporting materials. You’ll need to an ability to integrate quickly into fast moving and complex projects, working to high standards with minimal supervision. You’ll be involved in the production of consultation reports, making recommendations and suggesting amendments to policy. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You’ll be a credible expert in the GEOINT field able to demonstrate a broad understanding of ISTAR capabilities in all environments ideally coupled with experience in bid and proposal preparation in a military environment for a commercial company. You will need experience of engaging with both the UK MoD and Armed Services stakeholders, and be able to convey credibility with our clients through your personality and technical knowledge including MoD capability, capability planning and capability management. You’ll need to thrive in a problem solving role looking at the analysis of complex Defence issues and investigations. An understanding of Agile development and procurement techniques and an awareness of SIAM methodology would be an advantage. At CGI, we’re a team of builders.
