Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst on our team, you will be involved in many activities. This role will require communication and interaction with multiple internal clients in an encouraging environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring integrity of financial results for the region, analysis of actual rev/exp vs budget and forecast with variance explanations

• Active involvement in annual budget and monthly forecast cycles

• Provide information/support for various audits

• Build ad-hoc financial analysis as the need arises

• Ensure we are following contracts with revenue recognition and invoicing

• Monitor and provide review of ongoing margins for clients and region

• Various month end reports for Corporate and the Region

• Other tasks as identified

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 2nd or 3rd year enrolment in the CPA program

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role

• Developed analytical skills

• Excellent skills utilizing Excel and other MSOffice products

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Work independently and as a great teammate – ability to ask questions

• Personal sense of responsibility

• Able to balance multiple priorities and respect deadlines

• Strong capacity to work under pressure

• Proactive and curious attitude in financial information, gathering and validation

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Independent worker that requires little direct supervision beyond initial scope expectation and transfer of requirements, but able to recognize need for assistance and be a phenomenal teammate

• Knowledge of PSA and Hyperion
