Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the end to end operation and continuous improvement of business critical Oracle environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, including modern HA/DR architectures with RAC, Data Guard, and Multitenant.

·  Operate and further develop enterprise-grade Oracle database environments (CDB/PDB)

·  Ensure stable performance, high availability, and resilience of the database systems

·  Plan, execute, and optimize patching, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting activities

·  Build, maintain, and enhance Oracle high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard)

·  Manage storage using Oracle ASM

·  Automate and streamline operational processes (e.g., Shell, PL/SQL scripts)

·  Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders in an enterprise setting

·  Provide 2nd-level support for incidents and changes, including on-call availability as required

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  Several years of experience as a Senior Oracle DBA in enterprise or mission-critical environments

·  Deep hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC (current versions)

·  Strong experience with Oracle Data Guard (HA/DR, switchover & failover)

·  Very good understanding of Oracle Multitenant architecture (CDB / PDB)

·  Confident and reliable use of ASM (Automatic Storage Management)

·  Experience operating Oracle databases on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9

·  Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, patching, and upgrade skills in complex system landscapes

·  Independent, structured working style and clear communication with clients and stakeholders

·  Strong knowledge of RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Cloud Control

·  Desirable: Experience with Shell scripting, PL/SQL, MSSQL Server, or other DB technologies

·  Fluency in English is required; German language skills (minimum B2) are a strong advantage
