We are evolving a new digital team of agile service design specialists, building and delivering user centred services and solutions in partnership with our clients based in the South East of England.

We are looking for talented business analysts with a keen eye for the latest technological trends and open source technologies, to join our agile team and to help us build one of the greatest digital hubs in the London area. You could be based in either our London, Leatherhead, Luton, Bristol, or Reading offices.

Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for Business Analysts experienced working as part of multi disciplinary teams using Agile methodologies to deliver citizen and employee facing digital services. You will support manage Jira backlogs and perform analysis to enable development of digital services. As a Business Analyst you will also work with other CGI members, contributing to a knowledge sharing culture within the Business Analyst Community and the wider CGI team. We work with key UK Government clients to develop their interfaces to their stakeholders. We also help them to manage the information received through these channels. You could be working on projects helping our clients develop everything from public/government website interfaces through to mobile applications or even voice controlled personal assistant applications for devices such as Google Home or Alexa.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
In order to be successful in the role of Business Analyst, you will need to have demonstrable experience of providing business analysis capability within a multi-functional agile team, working in a structured agile approach to product development. You’ll also have experience of producing and managing a backlog of clearly defined user stories, NFRs and acceptance criteria using BDD in an agile tool (such as Jira) through all stages of agile development.
You should have a track record of playing a leading role in discovery/inception and ensuring effective collaboration between business experts, user researchers, user experience designers and technical team members. You will have good experience of using a range of analysis and modelling techniques, for example: modelling current and desired future scenarios, business functions and processes, logic and rules, information flows and data structures. We need our Business Analysts to be curious and creative, and have excellent communication and strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with excellent attention to detail.

If you have the skills outlined above we will be very interested in talking to you. If you have any or all of the following experience as well that would be an advantage;

• Experience of investigating operational issues, problems and new opportunities, and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automation or new or changed processes/procedures, organisation and equipment.
• Proven experience of working with Domain Driven Design.
• Significant experience of delivery of business transformation enabled by digital services.
• Proven experience working in the Public Sector and with the Digital by Default service standard.
• Demonstrable evidence of prototyping (wireframes, storyboards or other appropriate methods), process mapping, writing user stories, scenarios and personas
• Knowledge of tools, eg: JIRA, Confluence, Axure, MS Visio, Trello, Balsamiq, Enterprise Architect.
• Formal certification in Business Analysis (BCS/IIBA)

The role will involve some travel to other CGI offices and also client sites as required. Travel away from base office will be expensed. You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance to SC level. If you do not hold currently this level of clearance we will support you through this process.
