Position Description

As part of our on-going growth we are looking to recruit a Business Analyst with relevant payments expertise to join our Banking and Financial services business in the UK.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As CGI grow we are looking to recruit an experienced Business / Payments Analyst with specific payment knowledge to help grow CGI’s presence within major retail & corporate banking customer accounts.

The Business Analyst / Payments Analyst will support client project teams by delivering quality analysis and reporting as well as support CGI delivery programmes with business analysis contributing to the wider programme timeline and objectives. The Business Analyst will work within agreed timelines of the engagement to deliver the required artefacts, leveraging knowledge of payments processes and industry awareness to inform project teams. The business analyst will also help expand CGI’s engagements by identifying consulting, product and service propositions with clients and supporting the development of propositions and “go-to-market” strategies relevant to the target markets.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The successful Business / Payments Analyst must demonstrate a keen awareness of payments industry, preferably regulation, policy, industry initiatives, and impact within one or more of Open Banking, PSD2, immediate or faster Payments, DLT with regards Payments, and the UK payments strategy.

The successful candidate will offer solid analytical skills, able to work independently to tight deadlines, good communication and advanced stakeholder management skills. We are looking for self-motivated and driven individuals who are committed to help CGI grow the business in the UK. Ideally applicants would have previous experience with a payment services provider, in a Fintech or Bank, high street or online retailer, an industry body, or another consultancy.

Additional skills in Payments design, consulting, architecture or change delivery/business analysis,
Open Banking, PSD2, UK payments strategy, faster payments would be of particular interest.
