Position Description
Be part of something dynamic and join CGI’s Financial Services Team as a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be joining a team that works with leading tier 1 and tier 2 banking clients, as well as emerging challenger banks. We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about offering creative and innovative solutions for our clients. Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Business Analyst you will work across business and IT change projects across CGI’s UK client base. You will enjoy working closely with your clients on fast paced technology or consulting engagements as well as being a member of larger CGI teams delivering banking transformation programmes. Capturing requirements, mapping processes and data mapping will be among your responsibilities. You will get the opportunity to work with a number of experienced individuals with an abundance of Financial Services experience, and so this role is an opportunity to expand your knowledge

This role is a heavily client focused role, and may also require occasional travel to client sites and other CGI offices. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal candidate for this role must have solid Business Analysis skills. You will have some experience of how business processes work and how they are influenced by the environment around them. Demonstrable experience of capturing requirements and mapping processes and data is essential. If you have good experience of either Business or IT change projects that would be ideal, as would experience of working on development, system integration or consulting engagements.

The perfect person for this role will have excellent communications skills. They will be confident working with Client representatives, and you must be able to demonstrate creative problem solving techniques for common issues and challenges facing clients. Above all else you must be have the ability to thrive in a diverse and collaborative team environment.

Experience of working in the financial services sector would be beneficial, but is not essential. I you do have financial services sector experience and have knowledge of Payments regulations (PSD2, Open Banking), Payment schemes (BACS, CHAPS, FPS, SWIFT), Regulatory reporting, compliance, banking operations or RPA they would also be beneficial. But this is not essential experience required. Build your career with us.
