Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the development of modern backend systems that connect software platforms with device clusters and gateways. Depending on your technical background, your focus will be either on backend services built with Python and Go or on backend and gateway services implemented with Kotlin and Spring Boot. You are not expected to cover all technologies — we value strong expertise in one of these backend stacks.

·  Design, develop, and maintain backend services for device- and cluster-based platforms

·  Take ownership of backend components based on your expertise as a Python/Go Backend Developer or a Kotlin/Spring Boot Backend Developer

·  Develop services for cluster creation, device configuration, software updates, and metrics management or gateway services that act as a connection layer between SDKs and devices

·  Implement and maintain service communication using gRPC and REST

·  Coordinate backend workflows such as bootstrapping, execution, and service orchestration

·  Work with Linux-based environments and system-level integrations where required

·  Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards, and best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  Several years of experience in backend development

·  Strong expertise as either :

·  a Python and/or Go Backend Developer with solid Linux knowledge
or

·  a Kotlin Backend Developer with advanced Spring Boot experience

·  Experience building scalable backend or gateway architectures

·  Practical experience with gRPC ; REST API experience is a plus

·  For Python/Go-focused profiles:

·  Experience with Linux-based systems; knowledge of systemd, dpkg, or avahi is a plus

·  Familiarity with automation or configuration tools such as Ansible

·  For Kotlin/Spring Boot-focused profiles:

·  Advanced Kotlin skills and deep understanding of Spring Boot–based services

·  Frontend exposure (e.g. TypeScript/React) is a plus, but not required

·  Fluent English communication skills
