Systems Engineer- Automation Support

Position Description
Recognized for the highest level of technical expertise in providing automation support services such as automating scripting, configuration, administration, maintenance etc. This position also handles technical enquiries and may focus on a specific area of support. Your future duties and responsibilities
This position will be responsible for Automation Support role and applying process; procedures; Standards; guidelines and best practices.

• Very good understanding and exposure in supporting enterprise application, or application infrastructure
• Very good knowledge in scripting and troubleshooting scripts
• Good understanding of various ESM tool platforms (such as HP OM, BPPM, Nagios, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, SiteScope)
• Good knowledge of windows, Unix/Linux operating systems (from a platform perspective and not from an OS administration perspective)
• Good knowledge of web, application servers and Database servers (Eg: IIS, Apache, Websphere, Jboss, oracle, MySQL, MongoDB etc...)
• Basic knowledge in networking, AD, DNS, DHCP concepts
• Very good communication, collaboration and presentation skills
• Able to escalate incidents, solve problems, identify and drive changes in a high throughput operation
• Very good problem-solving skills
• Very good client-facing skills
• Very good written and verbal communication skills Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Primary Skill: Scripting Skills in Perl/Python.
Secondary Skill: ESM tool platforms (such as HP OM, BPPM, Nagios, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, SiteScope.

Other Details:
Title: Systems Engineer
• Prime shift: 24x7 on rotation shifts and on call support
• Work location: Bangalore (preferred), Chennai or Hyderabad
• Reports to: Associate Consultant (or higher position)
