Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with at least 1-3 years Accounts Receivable experience who will take full ownership of the A/R position at a large size company. Or, at a minimum, this person should have familiarity with elements of accounting. The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both paper and over the phone, as he or she will deal with higher levels of management.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Applicant will be responsible for entering cash receipts daily and resolving outstanding payment issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Prepare and maintain various reports
- Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Interact with PCAs and Controllers to resolve payment issues

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelors degree plus 1-3 years of experience or equivalent experience in lieu of education. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principals and be proficient at Deltek (Costpoint) accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
