The Human Resources team is responsible for playing a central role in supporting Centrepoint's employees. Our primary function is to provide a professional and efficient HR service that will enable Centrepoint and its employees to meet the organisation's vision of helping to promote social inclusion and end youth homelessness.
As the HR intern within this team reporting to the HR Officer, your role will be to support the administrative work of the team in the areas of payroll, recruitment, performance management and employee relations. Your daily tasks may include filing, letter writing, archiving, taking minutes at meetings, booking rooms etc.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Studying for CIPD or a HR qualification
- Excellent time management skills to manage their workload
- High level of professionalism
- Possess a can-do attitude
