Web Design Student Internship Opening 2018

We have opened up the doors again for a new intern.

Currently, we are based in Woodford Green in a cool home office environment.

***Before you send us any Resume/CV, we need to get an important point to you all.***
This is a graphics-based internship and we are looking for some skills before you commence.
We receive a lot of Resume/CV's in Word format and if you are truly a Design person then you will know that this is a terrible introduction to a design based internship.

It will show us 2 important things.
1. You can use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign.
2. It will show us your skills score on the most important minimum skills you need for this internship.

This is a Student internship placement for creative graduates/people looking to gain unique design experience in an online and offline environment.
This position is Part-Time 9.00 - 5.00pm 3 days per week. Flexibility with Days available.

Initial Day: creating a simple website design page.
if successful a 3, 6, 9 Month Internship will be offered

Your work experience would cover:
Helping to create inspirationally and on brand artwork for our clients.
Assisting in creating print artwork for marketing and advertising events
Designing web banners
Updating web pages/ social media updates
SEO Campaigns

This internship is 100% web design / CMS
We also teach On-site and Off-Site SEO implementation.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge in the following;
Wordpress - minimum 8/10
CSS - minimum 5/10
PHP - minimum 3/10
WEB DESIGN UX - minimum 6/10

This is not a "Wordpress Teaching Course", We don't expect experts but we need people that know the workings of templates and WordPress.

Payments?
------------
We pay daily travel ticket for London trains/Buses.
We pay for daily meals.

*Overtime work will be paid hourly if required to work extra hours.

Option to work on Paid Projects if you have the skillset to do so.

Desired profile

= Must have intermediate / advanced WordPress skills.
= Must have intermediate CSS, HTML, skills
= Must have intermediate/advanced Photoshop, Illustrator
= A good eye for choosing appropriate colours & layouts when designing
= Highly self-motivated & can express creative ideas
= A portfolio of artwork for print & web design
= Good typography skills
= Interest in multimedia design, latest web trends, user experience.
= Can switch on a PC
