Job Purpose and Summary
Offering you an opportunity to work as a TV Lens Engineer to service Canon TV Lenses to the required company standard and assist in maintaining the smooth running of the Service Department. Working to a high professional standard of work and information/liaison with customers you will have the support and guidance from the team and your Manager.

You will diagnose, repair, adjust and check all parameters regarding Canon TV Lenses and their associated accessories to required company standard and to ensure you are fully product trained attend technical training courses either in the UK and Overseas as required.
Maintain accurate repair documentation using Canon systems and processes. Proactive approach to dealing with parts shortages and recommendation of adjustment to stock levels.
Answering customer enquiries relating to enquiries and technical requirements also proactively contacting customers, as appropriate, to seek further technical repair information in relation to a repair or to offer advice to customers regarding the use of their products

Electrical/mechanical engineering background with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Relevant product knowledge, i.e. repair and adjustment of optical equipment including lenses, useful
Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Manager.
You will need
The role is very much a team role and we expect those in the team to contribute to produce an effective team. If you enjoy problem solving, fault finding and enjoy working in a busy team, and where your drive and passion to produce excellent customer service is exemplary, then we would be interested in your skillset. You will have the support of your Manager, but we encourage you to own the responsibilities in this role so you grow and develop.
Further Information
Salary: £22,170 – £28,719 dependant on previous experience in a similar role
Location: Reigate, Surrey
