Job Purpose and Summary

·  2-3 years of relevant experience in ICT projects with exposure to eCommerce, from solution design through development, testing, implementation, and support.
·  Professional experience with key applications and technologies in the digital domain (e.g., eCommerce, PIM, Analytics).
·  Knowledge of Content Management and CRM solutions will be advantageous but not essential.
·  Experience of working with both waterfall and Agile development lifecycles.

Canon Europe has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst within the Digital Design office, focusing on E-Commerce.

You will facilitate communication between the business and IT functions of Canon Europe. This will involve redefining and continually improving Canon’s Customer Experience. You will be engaging with all business areas during every stage of the system lifecycle, including selection, design, build, maintenance, enhancement and decommissioning.

You will be a fully engaged member of the design office, dealing with a suite of systems, such as; Oracle ATG, Product Information Management (PIM), Oracle R11 as back office ERP, Analytics, and Supply Chain / Logistics etc. Depending on the project that your assigned to, you will focus on a selection of these technologies. You will illicit requirements, document as is and to be scenario’s, create implementation specifications, assist and support QA, UAT and training. This will allow you to form strong professional relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will be:

·  Ensure alignment to business objectives and consumer best practices
·  Ensure alignment to business architecture guidelines and IT strategy to drive towards a joint solution design across different teams
·  Administer product backlogs in collaboration with product owners and work with the product owner to ensure effective delivery throughput.
·  Ensure requirements (whether functional or non-functional) are recorded in an efficient, consistent and coherent manner
·  Negotiate resolution to cross domain requirements discrepancies 
·  Support Design Office colleagues to drive process improvement and contribute to development of Agile IT practices across Canon Europe.
·  Identify opportunities to help shape business strategy.
·  Support the project planning process.
·  Monitor technology trends.
·  Champion customer experience and business process.
