Job Purpose and Summary

You'll manage the implementation of local and Pan-European PR and social media activity for Canon UK's B2B offering including office solutions, professional print and 3D print services. Working with the PR and Social Media Team Leader to plan, implement and measure PR and social campaigns aligning with the pan European strategy to directly support business objectives.

You'll manage local agencies to develop and implement proactive plans for PR as well as developing Canon's UK B2B social media presence. You'll also directly liaise with the press,  forging and maintaining relationships with a selection of technology journalists. Your innovative thinking will give you the scope of developing interesting approaches for the benefit of PR.

You'll work with local spokespeople to generate messaging documents, press release and editorials, always ensuring that these are accurate, factual and delivered on time.

Using your analytical skills you'll evaluate coverage and results on a day to day basis with reporting and planning based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You'll track and monitor specific project budgets against objectives.

Salary - £32,739 - £36,376 + 5% annual on target bonus
