Canon Europe are offering a fantastic opportunity for a placement student to join our European headquarters for a period of 12 months. This opportunity is open to those who are actively seeking an industrial placement as part of their related degree studies. 
You will have the opportunity to explore new areas and develop those that you have studied, gaining invaluable experience of how the theory translates into practice.

We are looking for the successful candidates to join late July/August.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Supporting the A/B and multivariate testing program.

- Develop an understanding of how customers use our website/ app including their motivations and pain points across multiple devices. Using qualitative and quantitative data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, produce ideas and recommendations across Ecommerce.

- Assist in providing ongoing ecommerce insights and analysis and report on click-stream analysis, search analysis, AB /multivariate testing, gap analysis, ROI analysis and survey data integration.

 - Assist the Ecommerce/Digital Operations team in delivering and optimisation our online marketing channels including Paid Search, Display, eMail and Affiliates.

 - Manage the weekly/ monthly competitor and retailer analysis to help understand the marketplace across all channels.

- Support in the creation and circulation of Digital Marketing reporting, presentations and analysis.

- University study relating to Digital Design preferable but not required.

- Computer literate, with good understanding of MS Office applications. Knowledge of Photoshop and/or basic coding desirable

- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-starter with drive to succeed under pressure. Confident, with strong interpersonal skills and able use own initiative.

- Desirable to have experience with supporting multiple stakeholders in a pan-European environment and prioritising multiple demands.

- Proactive, independent operator demonstrating initiative and continuous reliability.

- Professional and customer service minded approach.

- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.

- Highly organised and efficient.

- Able to prioritise multiple demands from multiple stakeholders.

- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.

- Understands and respects Pan European multi-cultural sensitivity.
