Cake Base ltd, trading as Cake Base, is an exciting new company and social media’s number one online marketplace for bakeries.

We are looking for a talented enthusiastic volunteer who thrives in the world of social media to help set up and manage social media pages over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

You will work from the comfort of your home and will communicate with the team through skype/phone. You will occasionally meet with the team in central London to discuss the marketing strategies to build the Cake Base brand and review how the social media accounts are developing. All expense will be paid.

This would be perfect for someone looking to take their first step into the vibrant and competitive world of digital marketing and for those looking to pursue a career in social media / marketing. It is also ideal for those who want to develop their CV and demonstrate an ability to create inspiring content as well as grow an audience.

About the Internship:

-Set up a wide variety of social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram
-Managing content development for all social media sites
-Assist in marketing strategies to help build the brand
-Identify ways to promote and grow the community
-Liase with clients

What we are looking for:

-A strong and demonstrable grasp of a wide variety of social media platforms particularly Facebook and Instagram
-Creatively minded and curious with the willingness to understand the business
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Detail orientated
-Super-organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
-Reliable and trustworthy to get the content created regularly and engage in the social media accounts daily
-Passion for developing the role
