Job description

Job Purpose:

To support Management and the Acquisition Manager by providing robust and accurate information in accordance with the agreed time scales to enhance the achievement of Butcher & Charles objectives.
The role covers the preparation of appraisals, Budgets. cashflow statements and office administration
To ensure appropriate levels of customer service is given consistent with the maintenance of relationships.

JOB SCOPE:
Prepare Appraisals
Produce Cash Flow Statements
Prepare Budgets
Report progress against Budget with monthly statements per SPV
Inbound Projects

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Firstly..

• To work within an efficient team in line with the Butcher & Charles key business performance indicators.
• Comply with all company and legal standards including health & safety.
• Lead and develop continuous improvement activity in the business’s delivery of quality, value and customer service.

Functional / Operational Excellence:

• Prepare appraisals
• Prepare Budgets
• Prepare Cash flow statements
• Learn the relevant skills to be able to substitute for the Acquisition Manager.
• To be an active member of the Acquisition Team
• To contribute to the development and implementation of company plans.
• Manage the IT system to maximise efficiencies.
• Work with other colleagues to ensure shared responsibility for delivering all KPIs and targets.
• To provide a strong client/customer service culture throughout the workforce emphasising the need to provide excellent customer service, particularly through accurate appraisal data and timely delivery.
• Submit appraisals in a timely manner

• Develop the team using a coaching approach as and when necessary.

Team:
• Attendance at regular briefings and communications to the team.
• To coach and mentor interns to agreed standards encouraging continuous improvement.
• To contribute to the development and implementation of office plans.
• Work with other colleagues to ensure shared responsibility for delivering all KPIs and targets.
• To undertake any duties in any other area by request, providing that undertaking of such duties does not present a Health & Safety danger to either yourself or your fellow colleagues.

Measures and KPIs:
• Sets personal objectives, reviews performance and identifies areas for improvement, manages short-falls of performance, and identifies training and development needs.
• Keeps up to date with latest market developments
• Adhere to company Health and Safety policies

Desired profile

KNOWLEDGE & SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

Essential;
• Strong MATHS and Microsoft office skills
• Advanced level business and finance administration skills to include report and appraisal writing , financial modelling and analysis of legal and planning documents for renovations and new builds
• IT literate, MS Office
• Able to work independently, and take initiative
