Role: PAT Engineer

Location: Field based with regular travel to Derby & Bristol

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) plus car/car allowance and excellent benefits package

TECHNICAL AND CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE

Reporting to the Area Manager, responsibilities include:

· To safely carry out high quality examination of portable equipment on key client premises, in line with agreed schedule
· To produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas’s best in class tools for on-site reporting and immediate client access
· To act as an advisor to clients, colleagues and external bodies, providing technical and legislative advice where necessary
· To deliver customer excellence, operating in the professional, friendly and authoritative manner expected of all client-facing Bureau Veritas engineers
· To adhere with all relevant safety guidance and legislation including the code of practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974

Candidate requirements include:

· Minimum City & Guilds 2377
· Minimum three to five years’ relevant industry experience
· Current UK driving licence
· Flexibility to travel between Bristol and DerbyCurrent UK driving licence

Personal attributes required:

· The ability to travel between two locations for the key client, to ensure compliance
· The ability to ensure full compliance of equipment for a key client
· The ability to meet KPI’s for client, ensuring full compliance and ensuring all equipment is testing within scope of works
· The ability to ensure full compliance of key clients assets
· The ability to meet Production hours target.
· The ability to build lasting relationships with clients
