Role: Junior HR Advisor

Location: Witham, Essex

Ready for your next challenge? We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Junior HR Advisor with the skills, experience and personal attributes needed to make a difference in a global leading business.

Working closely with the European HR Manager, we are looking for someone to provide professional and pro-active HR support for all locations within the European Region, with strong focus on the UK business located in Witham.

You will be accountable for supporting delivery of core HR processes including, but not limited to, maintaining the HR database within our HRIS (SuccessFactors) to ensure information for all entities within Europe is accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing support to the European HR Manager in the annual cycle of HR processes
· Act as a professional first point of contact for general HR enquiries from the UK offering appropriate HR advice, support and information. Support European HR Manager with this within Europe as directed.
· Provide support and advice in employee relation issues, as necessary for managers and employees
· Build effective working relationships with the wider HR Teams and Business Managers in order that a business partnering relationship is developed
· Develop and deliver HR projects as guided to enhance the business and HR processes (example: Introduce comprehensive on-boarding process for new joiners)
· Responsible for developing and maintaining an HR Policy and Document site internally, ensuring policies and procedures are updated in line with legislation and remain compliant
· Assist in the production of contracts, offer letters, job descriptions, policy documents, terms and conditions of employment for staff in the UK, in line with Company policy or guidelines and employment legislation
· Responsible for quarterly KPI reporting in line with Group guidelines
· Act as support for payroll processing in the absence of the HR Advisor or at times of increased pressure due to alternative responsibilities within the Department
· Produce statistical data related to absenteeism, attrition and retention rates within the Region
· Any ad-hoc duties which may be required i.e. production of reports, analysis of statistical data and assistance with developing presentations by the European HR Manager

Required Skills and Experience

· Proven experience in working in an HR function (partly CIPD qualified would be desirable)
· IT Experience (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint – Intermediate level)
· Experience working with an HRIS, including all employee lifecycle administration processes as a minimum
· Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure within strict time limits, and to be able to determine and organize priorities
· Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
· Ability to work as part of a team, and, as required, to work on own initiative
· Ability to exercise discretion
· Clean Driving Licence Holder
· Willingness to travel to UK sites and possibly to European locations from time to time
