Role: Junior Consultant

 

Location: Home based, with site based visits

The role of the Trainee IAWQ consultant is to offer a combined visit approach to our clients in performing H&S, legionella risk assessments, asbestos re-inspections, fire risk reviews and other core services in one single visit.

 

 

 

MAIN DUTIES

 

You will be enrolled into an initial training programme, which will include a number of training courses and shadowing our experienced consultants on site, following this and a successful audit you will be responsible for:

 

·  Risk assessments and audits of building water systems for the control of legionella, including auditing of site records.
·  Fire risk assessments reviews
·  Asbestos re-inspections, management surveys and basic refurbishment surveys
·  Producing draft schematic drawings of building water systems for submission to the CAD team.
·  Producing water hygiene logbooks for domestic water systems.
·  Preparing comprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretation of laboratory analysis.
·  Arranging and carrying out all work to meet with agreed Company & client timescales.
·  Liaising with project managers and account managers in relation to work under their control.

 

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 

·  Degree qualified or higher education preferred
·  Suitable transferable skills
·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
·  Proactive and eager to learn
·  Previous Environmental, Health and Safety, Laboratory or Quality Control related experience (preferred but not essential)
·  Full UK Driving License is Essential
