Job description

Bureau Veritas are actively seeking a proactive, organised and adaptable Document Control Administrator tojoin our Maritime Assurance and Consulting business.

Established in 2010, MAC has a strong client base within leading offshore operators and contractors, through providing high quality services in ourDynamic Positioning, Engineering and Marine Assurance & Consulting departments. In 2016, MAC was acquired by Bureau Veritas, reaffirming our company ambition to strengthen our North Sea presence and to offer a wider service portfolio to the market.

This role forms part of our administration team, assisting in the smooth running of the operation by ensuring that documentation and reports are processed and delivered in a consistent, high quality manner as well as providing a rangeof administrative support services to a busy engineering function.

Duties include (but not limited to):

· Creating and managing document templates
· Formatting, proofreading and processing of proposals and reports in accordance with company standards and ensuring consistency in quality and format
· Arranging visas, organising travel and accommodation
· Assisting in preparation and timely submission of tender documentation
· Maintaining various admin and document registers as necessary
· General administrative duties as and when required

Candidate requirements:

· Demonstrable experience in an administrative role in an office environment, preferablywithexperience of the review and formatting of engineering documentation
· Experience in managing personnel logistics and travel bookings
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Excellent office skills (MS Word, Excel etc.)
· Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy within deadlines
· Excellent communication and organisational skills

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience across document control and management, logistics and travel, with a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach to a varied workload.
