TECHNICAL AND CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE

Responsibilities include:

· Technical review of engineering design
· Ongoing onshore examinations and assessments for offshore installations such as FPSOs, platforms, semi-submersibles and subsea
· Surveys, examinations, maintenance / inspection reviews and technical audits against Performance Standards and International Standards or Client Specifications
· Occasional offshore / site visits as and when required
· Provide clear and concise technical reports in line with Bureau Veritas reporting guidelines

TAKE YOUR CAREER IN A NEW DIRECTION

Candidate requirements include:

· Degree qualified in Structural / Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a structural bias
· Robust knowledge and understanding of engineering codes and standards
· Awareness of construction, commissioning or operation of Offshore Installations an advantage
· Experience in assessing engineering design against standard criteria e.g. international codes and standards / client specifications / applicable offshore legislation
· Membership of recognised Professional Institution preferred

Personal attributes required:

· Proven technical knowledge and understanding
· Comfortable operating independently with individual responsibility for allocated activities, and as part of a team when needed
· Able to work simultaneously for multiple clients / projects involving varied technical challenge
· Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills
· Ability to build lasting relationships with clients
