Summary

This role will provide support to the Legal Department on both contracts administration and litigation. The position will include, gathering supporting documentation for contracts, contract administration and analysis, in accordance with company legal policies. The position also includes the management / oversight of key legal databases.

Essential Duties, Accountabilities, and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Review and redline basic/complex legal agreements
· Assist with editing, formatting, proofreading and distribution of documents
· Negotiate contract terms and provisions
· Assisting in house counsel with litigation and subpoenas
· Maintain files/reports and other pertinent data
· Photocopy, scan, mail, file, and upload documents

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Abilities:

· Bachelor’s Degree
· 5 years related experience
· Paralegal Certification/AA degree will be considered with corporate background
· Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
· Discretion with confidential information is necessary
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
· Advanced skills with Adobe PDF, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Demands:

This job operates from a professional office environment. This role routinely uses, but may not be limited to standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some light lifting and walking throughout building is required. This would require the ability to lift files and packages, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
