To support the Product Development Manager to manage the product development process for the category by working closely with the designers to develop each category from initial concept through to finished product.


· Assist the Product Development Manager to work with design to support the process of Raw Material sourcing/development
· Assist in ordering raw materials for prototypes and samples and implementing the seasonal development critical paths.
· Communicating with relevant suppliers and assist with the daily follow up of prototyping and raw materials developments.
· Assists in the creation of prototype and sample and manages the prototype and sample process in collaboration with Supply Chain, Merchandising and Vendors.
· Accountable for the overall management of sampling technical packs, ensuring that the relevant pages and fields are loaded onto PLM (or any other alternative format).
· Assists with general administration duties in the Product Development Department.


· Technical understanding of leather and materials essential
· Experience of working within a Product Development team essential
· Highly computer literate, particularly in Word and Excel
· Experience of PLM/SAP programmes would be an advantage
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent organisational skills
· Motivated by working in a highly pressurised environment.
· Passionate about product design and development
· Leather Goods Development experience essential
· Fluent Italian speaker essential
