JOB PURPOSE

· To ensure efficient and effective day to day delivery of HR Systems and Information Management processes to ensure that agreed KPI’s and SLA’s are met and adhered to, delivering with a continuous improvement mind-set. This position requires a high percentage of incident resolution, problem-solving and technical skills. In addition, inter-personal skills are required to guide customers through situations, providing the highest levels of resolution, support and customer satisfaction
· The HR Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, operation, and ongoing administration of HR systems and will act as a first point of contact for any system queries or issues as well as reporting and analytics activities and will act as a support to the Advisors and Manager within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery

· The role is primarily administering the SAP Success Factors system across all processes (Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Succession, Learning, Analytics and Compensation) and responding to various Customer & Information management requests including but not limited to: Employee Services Requests/Queries, HR Reporting & Analytics and HR IT business support requests
· Working with wider team as well as 3rd party vendors as needed for system maintenance, first line of support for systems issues; a central point of contact in collating, trouble-shooting, resolving and escalating issues
· Responsible for delivering efficient and effective resolution to all employee queries and systems specific requests
· Perform business as usual system actions based on HR/yearly calendar e.g. performance and pay review cycles including tracking process activity, and alerting appropriate staff of any potential problems impacting service delivery
· Gathering and assessing requirements for system changes, raising configuration requests and managing the use of Service Credits accordingly
· As part of a team managing the release cycle; assessing, communicating and actioning system changes / enhancements
· Performing quality assurance checks on system configuration, and testing workflows. Performing regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability the system. Collaborating with the Global Employee Services teams to improve data quality and integrity
· Responsible for configuring and maintaining reporting tools including SF dashboards, analytics, online & ad-hoc reporting and SAP HR reports and delivering effective HR reports & analytics to HR team and the wider business
· Deliver and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings by processing Employee queries/requests, reporting & IT requests-both timely and accurately with focus on meeting the agreed service levels
· Production and maintenance of system documentation (e.g. workbooks, training documentation etc.)
· Provide end user support to ensure adoption and ease of use

Leadership

· Acts as an advisor on routine enquiries where the answer is defined by a clear precedent or established procedures
· Typically an individual contributor directly responsible for the delivery of core operational or functional services
· Assists in training others and developing process knowledge
· Act as a buddy to new team members and help to on board and support them as required

Continuous improvement

· Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
· Work closely with the Advisors and Managers to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practical implications and exceptions
· Perform continuous system review line with system release cycles ensuring enhancements are assessed and adopted so that the systems remain current and Burberry is able to benefit from latest innovation.

Project work as required

· To be involved in the operational project team for any relevant HR system implementations including providing input and assistance with;
· Configuration and development,
· Process mapping & business analysis tasks
· System testing,
· Set up and management of UAT processes
· System readiness, and
· Training and change management as required

PERSONAL PROFILE

Qualifications & Experience

· May be degree qualified
· Relevant technical proficiency and experience, either through technical qualifications / training or on the job experience
· HR IT/Systems and operations process expert with 3+ years’ experience within an FTSE 250 company
· Relevant technical proficiency
· Experience of actively participating in continuous improvement projects from idea generation to implementation

· Use acquired experience/ knowledge for relationship building and training
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. With the ability to listen and connect with the customer
· Ability to engage with and communicate the right response to the requests
· Ability to deliver key messages to the end customer ensuring customer is satisfied with the response
· Ability to communicate with both technical and non technical teams at different levels ensuring technical messages are „translated“ and understandable to end users and vice versa
· Has the ability to say’no‘ and challenge positively
· Experience of working with various technology platforms within an HR function and/or HR process experience
· Ability to understand technical issues and challenges and make adjustment to achieve desired outcome in fulfilling HR IT requests
· Advanced MS Office (Excel) skills
· System implementation/project experience desired
· Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, skills and experience in data analysis and interpretation
· Organised and logical with good attention to detail is a must
