We are looking for an individual who is keen to learn and who has strong technical skills to hold accountability for maintaining and developing the CRM Database and CRM Business logics, andoverseeing the Offshore Data Engineering team. In partnership with the broader CRM team, youwill also be accountable for scoping, documenting and ensuring timely and quality technical delivery of CRM business requirements.

· Own the CRM technical development roadmap and support the continuous evolution of the CRM programme
· Oversee the maintenance, development and improvement of the CRM data platform (architecture, tables, metrics…)
· Identify, scope and translate CRM business requirements into technical deliverables
· Manage the Burberry offshore engineering team to prioritise and deliver business requirements as per timelines
· Document all logics and changes to ensure there is a solid repository of CRM knowledge available to all stakeholders
· Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts and engineering teams on CRM dependant cross-functional projects


· Take responsibility for managing a very wide range of data sources and allowing reliable CRM analytics
· Give guidance and build standards to improve data visibility and quality
· Build and develop an end to end audit and testing approach that ensures the CRM data platform will meet all legal and brand standards
· Being responsible for the maintenance, evaluation and evolution of the algorithms that are set to production
· In partnership with the broader platform architects, coordinate system upgrades schedule to minimise impact on the CRM programme


· BSC or MSC in relevant field
· Demonstrable experience as a data analyst / engineering work experience preferred
· SQL. Experience in coding in other programming languages is also an advantage
· Experience in working with large data sets, data mining and cleansing
· Eagerness to learn new system and work with the most recent developments in big data technology
· Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft package
· Ability to work independently and deliver a project under tight timelines
· Ability to explain technical aspects in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audience
· Fluent in English
· Affinity for Retail/Luxury sector
