We are looking for Trainee Gas Engineers to join our team to deliver energy efficient solutions to our customers through servicing, maintaining and repairing central heating systems. As part of the Traineeship we will provide a fully comprehensive training programme at one of our state of the art training academies, where you will benefit from industry leading training, delivered by expert trainers who have worked in the role themselves. You will work individually on the latest appliances and equipment in a realistic set-up and a spacious environment.

We are focused on developing talent and offer a wealth of opportunities for you to develop yourself and your career. Within this role we will enhance your qualifications through a supported learning program to gain your NVQ/SNVQ Level 3, both through time spent in the training centre and on real jobs in customers’ homes. When your training is complete we will support you in achieving your ACS Gas certification, leading to a period of support and guidance designed to ease you gradually into the full role of a Technical Gas Engineer.

Upon completion, you will then be ready to go the extra mile and showcase your new skills by carrying out servicing, diagnosing faults and making repairs for our customers using your fully equipped toolkit and van, latest tablet technology and mobile phone.

You will need to have proven work experience in an Engineering role (Gas, Electrical or Mechanical) and will ideally hold an NVQ / SNVQ / QCF Level 2 or City & Guilds in an engineering discipline. A full driving licence with 6 points or less for use within the UK is also required.
