Job description
Brides do Good is a social entreprise selling designer wedding dresses to fund charity programmes to end child marriage worldwide
This position will be perfect for a business or marketing student looking to gain hands-on experience in a start-up or a social entreprise. You’ll work directly with our head of digital marketing and content on delivering our ambitious campaigns across platforms.
Responsibilities:
Drafting social media content plan and posts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Researching and contacting potential industry partners
Website merchandising
Competitor research
Write SEO-optimised stories
Liaise with customers and third-party agencies
Mailing list segmentation
Analyse social media and email campaign results
Administrative support as required
You will develop:
Social media skills: creating a content plan, scheduling posts
Storytelling and SEO copywriting skills
Direct experience working for a social entreprise
Ecommerce skills: setting up product pages, merchandising
In-depth knowledge of the wedding industry
Compensation
We will provide you with an end-of-internship stipend, to be discussed during the interview

Your profile:
Attention to details with a strong desire to learn and professional drive
Ability to prioritise, organise your time and work independently
Business or marketing-related degree
Understanding of the digital marketing landscape and digital marketing trends (including SEO, social media)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of the aid/development challenges
Desire to further gender equality
Experience with MailChimp, Canva, Hootsuite desired or training can be provided
