Job description

Lintel Financial Services Ltd is in the process of application to secure authorization as a Bank. It will focus on providing banking services to international students and workers who intend to come to the UK to study, work and live.

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who has experience in undertaking writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages/UI/UX Designer and understanding of banking platforms/applications.

Purpose of the Role
• Expertise and experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
• Writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript and planning and prototyping new applications
• Designing the architecture of the components of an application, building and testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data
• Gathering requirements from clients and users, building and maintaining databases
• Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods

Desired profile

Person Specification
• An ideal candidate would be someone who has a natural flare and passion for the banking space and a genuine interest in reading and understanding the Web and programming languages
• The candidate would have sufficient business, product and banking platform knowledge to be able to assess platforms for the bank
• Must be pro-active, self-starter, able to manage own work to deliver to agreed deadlines without close supervision

Knowledge & Expertise:
• Educated to degree level from UK (Computer Science) to be able to meet the intellectual demands of the job, or can demonstrate equivalent experience
• Experience in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Multimedia Content Development, API's
• Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz
• Understanding of full project lifecycle
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation
• Wide breadth of experience in various analysis techniques
• Knowledge in business analysis and change management techniques
