Main responsibilities and duties of the role ;

Business Continuity Management

• Regular monitoring of threat level in London, and reporting to local management/head office business continuity team as appropriate
• The coordination, implementation and maintenance of the business continuity plan for the London branch
• Performing the analysis of the requirements of each business unit and ensuring these are regularly reviewed/updated and variations are communicated to IT as appropriate for updating of DR plan
• Liaison with Head Office BCP team to input information onto the business continuity database & establishing appropriate reporting
• Drafting and maintaining the London Branch Business Continuity Plan, including:
• All the relevant supporting procedures for London based activities (including standard template evacuation plans);
• Sections detailing recovery plans accessible for local regulators/clients, as required;
• Maintaining an up to date contact list for group heads/alternates to be used in a recovery/BCP situation;
• Setting up a functional disaster recovery site, including close liaison with the London based IT team on the technical aspects;
• Managing the relationship with external DR providers, currently Sungard;
• Planning and carrying out full user recovery, crisis management and crisis communication tests on a regular basis (working with the central Paris BCP team, where appropriate), including analysing problems encountered, proposing and implementing solutions;
• Awareness training as required for staff and local core crisis management team.

Physical Security:

• Be the designated Safety of People and Property Manager for EMEA, which includes implementation and ongoing management of the PSPS Policy.
• Define policies & procedures relating to physical security
• Manage all London branch day-to-day aspects of physical security with regards to the building access management system and CCTV.
• Regular monitoring of threat level in London and EMEA, and reporting to local management/head office security team as appropriate
• Provide professional expertise on physical security matters across EMEA
• Provide leadership in developing and maintaining contingency and security plans for specific events
• Perform regular building access reviews, identify potential risks and work with stakeholders to mitigate those risks.
• Carry out investigations where security breaches or incidents have occurred, and report accordingly
• Develop and maintain physical security awareness programme for all employees
• Act as liaison with external groups such as the City of London Police and disseminate information on current threats and trends which could materially affect Natixis’ business continuity.
• Work in close liaison with Building Management and Building Security where appropriate

Profile recherché

• Good understanding of the principles/issues involved in areas of physical security controls and business continuity.
• Experience in administering business resilience programmes, performing physical security audits and risk assessments.
• Disciplined, pragmatic approach.
• Strong understanding of the ISO 22301 framework
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Analytical skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to others and to identify and escalate issues of concern to management, as appropriate
• Ability to work in a pressured environment while prioritising appropriately competing objectives
• Supportive and reliable team member.
• Self-motivated, demonstrating enjoyment in their work

The Head of Business Continuity & Physical Security will be expected to work closely with the business and other control functions to ensure local policies and standards are applied consistently across all Natixis London business operations.
To manage Physical Security for the London Branch, and to manage the Physical Security and Personnel Safety Policy and its implementation across the EMEA region.
