Natixis is looking for a Client Strategy & Analytics Associate / VP to join our Client Strategy Group in New York.

Instrumental in making CIB businesses client-centric, the Client Strategy Group’s missions are to:

  • Support CIB Americas client strategy and development, promoting increase in share of wallet and client profitability with target clients through the process of account plans and client segmentation
  • Report on client activity and performance analytics
  • Provide relationship managers and business heads with strategic insights and analysis to support decision making
  • Build and manage client knowledge, promoting the usage of the CRM for greater level of client intelligence through information-sharing.


The candidate will play an integral role in the build-up of the Client Strategy function in the Americas. Collaborating with both internal and external data teams, Relationship Managers, salespersons and product specialists, the candidate will have the opportunity to perform a variety of functions and contribute to the development of a growing platform.

Essential duties:


  • Develop analytics & tools to 1. Measure relationship success and client profitability, 2. Assess performance of sales forces and relationship managers (sales credit, commercial intensity,…).
  • Develop expertise in all types of client data and ability to read / leverage the information to support decision making and identify business opportunities (client segmentation and profitability / resources allocations, cross sell and performance analytics).
  • Ensure the integrity, consistency, quality of the data, analysis and dashboards on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Provide sales & relationship managers with bespoke analysis, data and reports to assist in the review of their client portfolio
  • Prepare commentary on our client activity, communicate on activity to management and coverage
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of accounts for business development purposes and identification of cross-selling opportunities
  • Promote the use of our CRM solutions and partner with internal stakeholders to drive improvements

Profil recherché

Profile recherché

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related, 2-5 years’ experience in similar positions in Banking or Consulting industries
  • Solid finance / capital markets knowledge, good understanding of capital markets & banking products suite, and related performance metrics
  • Ability to manipulate data, interpret numbers and deliver relevant messages in a succinct fashion for senior management.
  • Organized, proven analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Curious, strategic, global, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Advanced skills in Excel, knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), Business Intelligence (Business Objects, Qlik, Tableau) solutions and data providers (S&P Capital IQ, Dealogic) a plus
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication (written and spoken) and presentation skills. Confident in working with executive management and actively exchange with Relationship Managers and business heads
