Business Manager

Description de l'offre

  • Work with Business Lines Heads and their Managers to ensure teams and supports are structured and resourced appropriately,
  • Monitor market developments and produce regular updates,
  • Interact with the front to back stakeholders, encompassing Business Support, Risks, Compliance, IT, Finance, be these in London, Paris or in any other location. Get all parties in sync to contribute fully to the Business Lines developments,
  • Be an agent of change by removing obstacles, spearheading and driving strategic developments,
  • Provide advice to his Management
  • Articulate the lines strategies and ensure that they become practical projects which are implemented timely and effectively,
  • Initiate and lead projects, organise, motivate and control:
    • Build business cases
    • Project Planning: With all stakeholders, preparation of to do lists of specific tasks, set the required resources, milestones, deadlines and expected deliveries.
    • Project execution, management & tracking
    • Help Business Lines in drafting core operating procedures
    • Issue identification and resolution
    • UAT & implementation,
  • Stand above the businesses silos to ensure there is a common ground and deliver organizational wide changes when necessary,
  • Monitor operational and commercial metrics and proactively take actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare Budgets
  • Business monitoring and analysis
  • Monitor quantitative and qualitative results, i.e. Actual vs. budget / forecasts. Produce variance analysis.

Profile recherché

  • Substantial knowledge of Capital Markets / Structured Finance as well as related products, including derivatives, and related issues e.g. financing, treasury, booking models...

  • A high level understanding of the core processing across front, middle & back office as well as other functions such as Finance, Tax, Risk and Compliance.

  • Client/customer focus and business development.

  • Capabilities to empathize with colleagues and clients at all levels. Ability to bond and get people to deliver.

  • Strong analytical and Organizational skills with attention to details. Strong project management background.

  • Management skills to drive teams and get different stakeholders all focused in delivering critical and complicated projects

  • Problem Solver

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

  • Ability to cope with constant changes and be able to manage multiple tasks as well as multiple clients.

  • Can work under pressure.

  • Proven success in delivering similar duties

  • Ability to leverage assigned and delegated resources

  • Autonomous working with pro-activity in reporting and getting all parties tuned timely of developments

  • Cross fertilizer of ideas and expertise.
