Role synopsis

IT&S ­is vested with the authority and accountability for:
·  the development of Strategic Direction and Roadmaps for all Enterprise Systems;
·  the definition of Architecture, Strategy and Standards within the Enterprise Systems Domain;
·  an Enterprise Systems Project Execution Engine resourced by a talent pool deploying applications standards, tools and methods;
·  the development and maintenance of Enterprise-wide shared components and associated services;
·  the “silent running” of applications in accordance with established service levels with the business. Support components to include application service desk, base applications support, service delivery and business process analysis with key interfaces to the business, GOI and suppliers.
The BAS is the central design and development in IT&S. Within the BAS, the Design Centre is the organization that builds and maintains the BP Intellectual Property in the functional design of BP business processes, and how those processes are supported by IT&S. This includes the solution design and configuration of the application to support the business processes. These business processes consist of: OTC (Order to Cash), Supply Chain Operations, PTP (Purchase to Pay), Asset Management and Manufacturing, Transportation Logistics, Finance HR and Management Information (MI).

The ­Analyst is responsible for the solution design of respective Domains (OTC, SCM, PTP, FI, MI, HR). This role reports directly to the respective Lead Functional Analyst

Key accountabilities

·  Deliver the solution design, configuration and customization of a system to meet the business process design and business requirements within BP's in the respective domain.
­
·  Supports the Business Process Team and the Business Stakeholders to validate business requirements in order to drive common process and functional solutions globally.
­
·  Carryout the solution prototype and conduct a conference room pilot to validate the configuration design and explore fit/gap resolution options.
­
·  Complete the associated solution design document including the Configuration Rationale documentation.
­
·  Enter the configuration into the “gold” or master configuration client and prepare it for migration and transport to the next environment(s) as defined in the system landscape.
­
·  Participate in testing, including unit test, assembly test and system test.
­
·  Complete all appropriate documentation required by the testers, deployment team and application support team
Essential Education

·  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
·  Proven systems delivery and/or design knowledge in more than one SAP module
·  SAP solution design experiences at least 1 SAP projects with global footprint
