Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager (Soft FM Services) to join our Facilities Management team working on our key university contract at the University of West London in Ealing.  This is a permanent role working 40 hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.

The role:
·         Reports to the General Manager
·         To be the contract lead for all event management and take second tier responsibility for general client liaison and customer services across the account.
·         To co-ordinate all contract wide initiatives that run across multiple work streams to deliver a timely, seamless client solution.
·         To drive engagement with the university schools and departments in order to enhance the perception of Bouygues within the University.
·         To manage the output of the helpdesk and switchboard functions, ensuring high standards of customer service at all times. To take the lead in driving seamless contract administration to promote prompt payment of suppliers and reduce the number of webcycle enquiries on contract.
·         To be responsible for all operational staff, budgets and performance of helpdesk, switchboard, caretaking and logistics services, ensuring the services meets contract objectives
·         Identifies efficiencies throughout the operations team; is responsible for development/improvement and tracking of Key Performance Indicators; monitors trends; works to maintain and surpass the targets set
·         Manages the frontline teams: performance appraisal, training and development, team briefs, leave requests and adhering to company standards such as uniform etc.
·         Ensures strong liaison with client team for service delivery and commercial activity of the contract
·         Hours are 08.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility needed for some evening and out of hours attendance


The person:
·         Extensive knowledge of FM service provision and excellent customer services skills ideally in a similar environment
·         Must have event management knowledge and experience
·         Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office package and Maximo
·         Proven experience of managing a team, including strong communication and organisational skills
·         Ability to problem-solve and work pro-actively to promote efficiencies and increase service delivery
·         Flexible approach to duties and hours worked
·         Experience of financial systems and generating reports and/or previous experience of Maximo (or an alternative CAFM system) is desirable
