Description of assignment
The role:
Supervise the M&E team, BYES Mobile Support Team and specialist contractors, to ensure all work is carried out to contract specification and tenant satisfaction
To undertake PPM and reactive works ensuring that all jobs are completed in line with SLA’s, KPI’s and CPI’s
To ensure the immediate and proper allocation of work and the completion of such work in accordance with the performance monitoring system
Assist with the planning and organising of work for both direct and contract labour to ensure cost and time targets are met; to allocate and control overtime; to organise out-of-hours emergency works
Ordering materials and services, maintain records, control stock, provide engineers reports, etc
Assist with estimates, site measurements and cost control information; to identify chargeable works and ensure these are recorded appropriately
Liaising with the client when required and resolve any issues
To organise and participate in the out of hours on-call rota
Working hours are 8 hours between 07.00 and 21:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
Must have relevant and current qualifications such as 17th Edition, Corgi, ACOP’s, ONC/HNC within relevant discipline, JIB registration
Must have supervisory experience and good people management skills (appraisals, training, recruitment, team briefings, etc)
Proven track record of maintenance/hard services within Facilities Management
Strongly client focused, able to take ownership of projects/issues and resolve
A proactive, flexible, can-do approach
