Description of assignment

Bouygues Energies & Services FM is currently looking for an HR Adviser to join our Human Resources team. The role will be based in Oxford working on our client’s site in the healthcare sector and will also require regular travel to Bristol. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring HR professional to develop their career in Employee Relations field.

As an HR Adviser, your day-to-day duties will involve:

·  Providing an effective and efficient advice and support service to operational managers and employees on all HR and ER matters (discipline, grievance, absence management, performance management, change management and TUPE)
·  Supporting the development of managers’ people management skills through training and coaching
·  Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures
·  Participating in recruitment and selection of staff in accordance with procedures
·  Ensuring HR IS systems are effectively maintained and monitored
·  Maintaining, monitoring and compiling statistical information
·  Undertaking Human Resources projects
·  Acquiring and maintaining a good working knowledge of developments in employment law and HR best practice, recommending improvements in policies and procedures

 

 

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

·  Prepared and eager to work in HR in a demanding front line environment
·  Working knowledge of developments in HR best practice and employment law
·  Strong interest in Employee Relations
·  Experience of using an HR IS system, both input and reporting. Intermediate user of MS Office
·  CIPD qualification or working towards it
