Your contribution to something big

·  Technical project lead for medium duty PHEV delivery truck project.
·  Interface with commercial vehicle (CV) and off-highway (OHW) electrified powertrain business field managers in Germany in order to ensure the platform development departments consider NA customer specific requirements and to gain and transfer HEV/PHEV knowledge back to the group here in North America.
·  Continue to build-up local competency within DS for electrified powertrain systems, including hybrid components and topologies.
·  Engage in early technology information exchange with development teams in Germany regarding future hybrid technologies, such as >700V hybrid systems for commercial vehicles and off-highway vehicles.
·  Support divisional customer sales teams in the acquisition of mHEV, sHEV, PHEV, and EV diesel powertrain systems.

What distinguishes you

·  Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
·  3+ years of automotive experience required with direct responsibility for battery electric or hybrid vehicle systems and/or components preferred.
·  Experience with diesel powertrains required with an in-depth transmission knowledge a plus.
·  Experience with INCA and Matlab/Simulink SW preferred.
·  Willingness to travel internationally for training and customer meetings required.
·  German language skills are a plus.
